Below represents some of the needles that inspire The MIMS Institute LLC to promote academic excellence in key urban zip codes. Most journeyed through public schools in Tampa Bay and Hillsborough County. Along the way, they instructed the managing member of The MIMS Institute LLC about how students from underserved communities can successfully navigate a complex and oftentimes challenging public education system.

Based on the lessons learned, The MIMS Institute LLC's mission has evolved into helping Motivated Individual Minority Students access similar exceptional opportunities during the second decade of the 21st century.

New York University Class of 2005 Baccalaureate Ceremony 

The spark that lit the passion for promoting academic excellence occurred when Jason II received an acceptance in December of his senior year in high school offering him a seat at "his dream school." 

His efforts in rigorous academic classrooms in Hillsborough County earned him a new address two weeks before September 11, 2001:  35 Fifth Ave. New York, New York.
