Which Colleges Actually Graduate
Their Students (and Which Don’t)
"This report documents the dramatic variation in graduation rates across more than 1,300 of the nation’s colleges and universities, even between those with similar admissions criteria and students."
Students Right to Know
(Public Law 101-542)
The report uses a six-year graduation rate called the SRK Rate.
"The SRK graduation rate is defined as the percentage of that cohort of fulltime beginning students that graduate in 150 percent of the “expected” time that it should take to complete a degree. For a bachelor’s degree, which traditionally has taken four years, the SRK graduation rate is therefore based on graduation within six years."
The MIMS Institute focuses on helping students prepare in secondary school for opportunities to study in college with a majority of students prepared to graduate in four years or less.
